Agriculture Hall of Fame  
Nominations for the Agriculture Hall of Fame will be accepted at the Pasco Chamber located at 1925 N. 20th Avenue until noon, December 18th.for more information go to www.pascorealag.com

Selected nominees will be recognized at the 10th annual Agriculture Hall of Fame Gala on Thursday, January 7th, at Columbia Basin College. 

The Agriculture Hall of Fame Awards:

  • Mid Columbia Ag Hall of Fame (individuals that have been actively involved in the agricultural industry in our area over a period of many years, donated their time for community activities (unselfish acts), served on a variety of boards and commissions or elected office).
  • Agriculture  Advisory Leadership Award (4-H,Educator’s, Agriculture Advisors that has had a great influential impact in agriculture/agribusiness through  their leadership, guidance and community involvement)
  • Agribusiness man/woman of the Year (Stellar Work Ethic, admirable Community Involvement, Technology Advancement, She/he who has noticeably enhanced the Agribusiness industry

     To include:

  • Farmers and/or ranchers
  • Individuals representing agricultural business and education
  • Agriculture volunteers and supporters

How to submit a nomination:

  • Attach a brief description of why your nominee deserves special recognition.
  • Please include a brief biography describing the nominee’s accomplishments such as, honors, contributions to agriculture, volunteer activities, associations served and community service.
  • Letters of support, testimonials, news clips, and photos are encouraged. 
  • Special emphasis will be placed on community involvement and unselfish acts of goodness.
  • Nominees must be lifelong residents of Franklin County and the immediate outlying areas. They may be living or deceased.
  • Examples available upon request.
